Our Programs
The Colorado Parent & Child foundation supports two evidence-based early childhood home visitation program models: HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) and PAT (Parents as Teachers). These programs work to increase child school readiness to prepare children for long-term academic success, increase parent knowledge and involvement in their child’s development and learning, and strengthen positive parent-child relationships. The home visitation design of each program model helps parents provide developmentally appropriate enrichment for their children. HIPPY and PAT reach families where they are – in their homes and on their terms. The programs work in both urban and rural settings to overcome the barriers of poverty and social isolation, and present parents with options to help develop their skills to become the first teachers in their child's life.
The Colorado Parent & Child Foundation’s programming is currently available to families in the following counties. Click on your county below to find a program near you. To get involved with a program, please contact the specific program in your community for more information.
